57th Annual RGV Regional Science and Engineering Fair
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Senior Division Fair (High School grades 9-12)
Location:  Jacob Brown Auditorium (600 International Blvd, Brownsville, TX)

Junior Division Fair (Middle School grades 6-8)
Location:  Garza and Annex Gym (80 Fort Brown, Gorgas Drive, Brownsville, TX)

Friday, Feb. 10
4 p.m. — Check-in, set-up, Display and Safety (NOTE:  No one can check-in on Saturday!)
7 p.m. — Doors close
7:30 p.m. — Display and Safety staff leave the building
Saturday, Feb. 11
7:30 a.m. — Students form a line to enter buildings
• Senior Division (HS) – Jacob Brown Auditorium
• Junior Division (MS) – Garza Gym (Texas Southmost College campus)
8 a.m. — Doors open for students at their respective sites
• Senior Division (HS) – Jacob Brown Auditorium
• Junior Division (MS) – Garza Gym (Texas Southmost College campus)
• Judges check-in and Breakfast & Judge Orientation
• Senior Division Judges at Stillman Hall (next to Jacob Brown Auditorium)
• Junior Division Judges at Eidman Hall (behind Garza Gym and tennis courts)
8:30 a.m. — Students must be at their projects
9 a.m. to noon — Judging begins
• Senior Division (HS) – Jacob Brown Auditorium
• Junior Division (MS) – Garza Gym (Texas Southmost College campus)
Noon to 1 p.m. — Lunch
1:15 p.m. — Students return to their projects
1:30 p.m. — Judging resumes for certain categories, Special Awards and Grand Champion Awards
4 p.m. — Judging ends for Junior Division (MS) & Senior Division (HS)
4 - 5 p.m. — Public Viewing for Junior Division (MS) & Senior Division (HS) at respective locations
6:30 p.m. — Awards Ceremony for Junior (MS) & Senior Division (HS) – Jacob Brown Auditorium
• Presentation of the Colors by ROTC
 Welcome — Derick Garcia, KVEO and Carlo Tamayo, UTRGV Director of Admissions and Recruitment

• Special Awards
• Grand Champion Awards – Announcement of students advancing to the Intel International Science & Engineering Fair on May 14-19, 2017 in Los Angeles, CA.

Students will identify the main functions of the systems of the human organism, including the circulatory, respiratory, skeletal, muscular, digestive, excretory, reproductive, integumentary, nervous, and endocrine systems.

This week students will review and test on the human organ system.
